Career Path

My career as a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist and Certified Diabetes Educator began over over 35 years ago.I feel very fortunate to be in a field that I love.

I started my career at Christ Hospital in Jersey City, providing nutritional care for inpatients and outpatients with a wide range of medical issues.. Highlights of my experience at Christ Hospital, were implementing the American Heart Association’s Culinary Heart’s Kitchen, developing weight control programs for children and adults, teaching the Diabetes Dinner and Learn Program and facilitating the diabetes support groups.

I worked for over 15 years at the Regional Diabetes Center at Saint Clare’s Hospital until budget cuts closed our doors. While there, I used nutrition to help treat a wide variety of medical concerns including: diabetes,, obesity, hypertension, gastrointestinal problems, cardiovascular disease, celiac disease and gluten intolerance. Whether through individual sessions, diabetes self-management training classes or support group sessions, my clients and I work collaboratively. As a result, I have learned and continue to learn invaluable lessons about their personal struggles.

At Diane’s 365 Nutrition, I enjoy working with clients to improve their nutrition and health.
